Austin’s vintage-inspired music sits at the intersection between indie pop, folk, and country. Inspired by classic singer-songwriters, Austin approaches songwriting from a narrative point of view and painfully vulnerable honest lyrics.
In 2020 Austin released his debut project, an indie pop EP titled Imaginary Boy. The EP’s lead single “I’ll Forget U, I Won’t Forget This” has since received about 300,000 streams on Spotify.
Since then, Austin has continued to explore his blend of vintage pop with country western influences, releasing a string of singles including the folk-pop ballad “i don’t wanna be your friend” and his modern rockabilly pop track, “the shirt song.” He’s currently working on his next EP, to be released in spring of 2024.
